Whose Linking to You? Find Out With Google Sitemaps
February 7th, 2007Now with Google Sitemaps web site developers can see who is linking to each page on their web site. Google has just added new functionality to their webmaster tools section that allows web site owners to see who is linking back to each individual page. Unlike using the ‘link:’ command in a Google Search, the webmaster tools page gives you many more results.
If you have already created your sitemap with RAGE Google Sitemap Automator just log into your sitemaps account and you should be able to see all this data. Make sure you have correctly verified your web site first. If not, just download RAGE Google Sitemap Automator and generate your sitemap file.
This is a great way to keep track of who is talking about your web site.
