Your iWeb Replacement is Here, Get EverWeb Now!

November 11th, 2013

When Apple stopped updating iWeb we immediately started working on a replacement. For the users that have used iWeb, we know that there is currently no suitable replacement that is as easy to use. That is, until now!

We took iWeb’s ease of use and design freedom and turned it into a more powerful, modern website builder called EverWeb.

EverWeb has the same familiar iWeb interface but with more features which includes;

  1. Image slideshows
  2. Mobile websites
  3. Drop down navigation menus
  4. Built in Search Engine Optimization features
  5. HTML5 Video/Audio
  6. Optimized websites for faster loading
  7. Mouse over and mouse down effects
  8. Social media integration including Facebook, Twitter and Google+

Download EverWeb

Now’s the time to move your iWeb site over to EverWeb and take advantage of all the new, modern website features.

EverWeb is free to try and comes in two versions. A standalone version that lets you publish to any web host and a One-click publishing solution that includes web hosting and email addresses.

    I have been using iWeb for some time now, I have a few questions. Is it approved software ( Recognised by Apple). Will my host recognise it if I choose the stand alone version ( I have recently renewed my hosting charges), how will I update my iWeb site with it and is there a support help line. Many thanks, Ray.

    You can use it with your web hosting provider and you can use the forums for help http://billing.ragesw.com/forum.php or contact customer support.

    Can my IWeb website be transvered to Everweb so I can continue bel-vedere.eu in Everweb

  4. paul Says:

    You cannot import your iWeb site but you can easily rebuild an iWeb site by following this video tutorial;

    All my iWeb sites are inactive. I bought a new iMac 27″ that still offered a CD slot and wonder how much trouble it would be to transfer all the photos to a new site, or should I just leave them in cyberspace and start from scratch?

  6. paul Says:

    If they are on your computer too it is very easy to transfer them to an EverWeb site. You can just drag and drop them from the Media browser within EverWeb into an image gallery.

    Is Everweb going to coast and how much and when.

  8. paul Says:

    It’s available now, you can get it here http://www.everwebapp.com

    I have several thousand old family photos (jpegs). I would like to put them on a web site so that descendants could enter “Freda”, say, and up would come all the photos containing Freda. If I entered “Freda and Fred” up would come those photos. Obviously, each jpeg would have to be labelled with name, date, place etc.

    I’m a Mac user but haven’t used iWeb. I haven’t got a web site. Would EverWeb do what I’m looking for? I’m looking for something simple.

  10. paul Says:

    No, you couldn’t do this with EverWeb. This would probably require some kind of script to be written up so you can do that.

  11. H Says:

    Can I drag and drop images anywhere on a page with Everweb a la iWeb?

  12. paul Says:

    Yes you can!
