So I know where to put title tags and meta descriptions on my content pages title tag pulls from the page title, and the meta info I place in the box on the right. However - I am doing this for the main navigation pages: Home, Contact, About, etc. and the titles and meta tags are not taking.
Does anyone know the proper place to plug in title tags and meta description tags for the main menu / navigation pages?
Cheers,
SW

When I look at the source of my pages, shouldn't I see the meta tags in the code?
And my search engine status is no different days and weeks after my first use of the SEO software.
Just saying.
On another note:
I loaded the site last night and the fonts on my second page got jacked up. It took the font from a head line and applied it to a menu item. And left the font off of the headline.
I've since uploaded straight from iweb to fix the problem.
Any ideas on these issues?

I add the meta tags to my site and load it to my godaddy ftp.

If you re-upload your website with iWeb it will overwrite everything iWeb SEO Tool does so you will see no meta tags.
What do you mean by your SEO Status? The only way you can reliably test how well your website is doing in search engines is by having an XML Sitemap file and using Google Webmaster Tools or using SERank ( http://www.ragesw.co...ngine-rank.html ). So can you be more specific here?
Also, if you are not using iWeb SEO Tool to always upload your site than you really haven't made any positive changes to your website.
Unless you are going through keyword by keyword tracking how your site is moving up a search engines rank. Even so, you aren't guaranteed to be at the top of Google for the keywords you enter. Please see;

I don't know why you would see changes to your website with iWeb SEO Tool. It doesn't modify your site's appearance.

I reloaded the site with the iWeb SEO tool. The problem with the appearance must be coming from iWeb.
Back to my first question in the previous post.
When I look at the source of my pages, shouldn't I see the keywords?

What I mean by SEO status is this. When I search for the keywords in my site, I don't show up at all. I used to be second from the top in the keywords I searched for. I know its not scientific.

Yes you should see the keywords, unless you have re-published with iWeb.

Well it looks like you didn't add keywords for each page because I can see other settings applied by iWeb SEO Tool. Please see this article for more reasons why your keywords may not be appearing;

Do I have to add the keywords to all of the widget_markup.html pages too?
No, you do not have to add keywords to those pages. Only pages you recognize that you have created in iWeb.
