I was able to install google analytics with iWebSEO and when I go to my live site, I found the google analytics on the first two pages by viewing source, however, the Blog Page was completely missing. In other words, instead of my articles and information, text, etc, it said Blog widget. I have gone and republished with iWeb, however, now, I am back to square one, no analytics.

Because of how Apple has created iWeb, they don't allow exporting an iWeb Blog to a folder or editing the page, otherwise this will happen.
We are currently looking for a way around this, or at least to be able to skip blog pages.
You should consider using a real blogging software such as wordpress.

i also have this problem. When i publish to file, the blog disappears and I am left with a widget announcement. If I understand your reply, I will not be able to use seo tool at all.
No, you can use the tool but you just need to make sure you press just the Apply button individually for each of your pages and do not use the Re-Apply Saved Tags Button. As long as you just Apply tags to pages that do not include the comment widget you will be OK.
