All of my websites were doing fine until Sitemap Automator crashed on opening today. All of my info was gone. Plus, I had to re-license the thing. I don't have a clue about that. But, since I originally created sitemaps for my sites, I have learned a few things. I am using the iWeb Seo Tool as well now which is working fine. Here is how I do everything.

1. Edit site in iWeb
2. Publish to folder
3. Publish to ftp (GoDaddy) via Rage iWeb Seo Tool
4. Create sitemap via Rage Sitemap Automator
5. Publish sitemap to ftp (GoDaddy) again

Everything worked fine until step 5. I have done seo analyzers that will not detect my meta tags and keywords if I just use www.amarillopain.com but will notice them if I put the domain redirect in which is

http://www.amarillop...tic_Clinic.html

If I enter the re-directed string I get the following error "Can't open that file: No such file or directoryRename/move failure: No such file or directory

So, that's my question.

Sitemap Automator works great if I just use www.amarillopain.com

Do I publish it to just www.amarillopain.com even though the seo analyzers find no title, meta tags, alt tags, etc....?

Or, do I figure out how to publish the redirect string that the analyzers DO find the metatags, etc on?

I'm close to making it all work! Oh so close! : )

If your sites were deleted and it asked you to register the product, it is most likely because the preferences file was deleted. Did you happen to delete some files from your hard drive? This is probably the case.

You can enter your site as www.amarillopain.com

The analysis being done is probably only looking at www.amarillopain.com which actually doesn't have any meta tags or anything on it. It's the other pages on your site that actually do contain these things. Search engines are able to see them, so no need to worry.

I did not delete anything that I'm aware of.

Are my steps in uploading any changes correct?

It irritates the heck out of me that I'm not able to complete a step and create the new sitemap. I didn't do anything to cause the crash in the program or the deleting of my info. I'm almost to the point of wanting to try to delete anything I've done with Rage and start over from step one now that I know more about what I'm doing.

OK, I think you answered my question.

Still, are my steps the correct procedure to upload everything?

You may not get a reply if people can't understand what you are asking. I followed down to "Everything worked fine until step 5." So what failed after that step?
