Just spent 4 hours optimizing the previous version (ie SEO Tool updated iWeb content), and uploaded it successfully. As I was doing that, my partner was creating "new" content...well, sent it through SEO Tool, and now am ready to 'WebCrush" again....before I do that though, how do I ensure that WebCrusher "remembers' the pages I 'keep original' without having to spend another 4 hours going through each of the hundreds of selections? Can I just open the SEO file that I have currently of the same website - and WebCrusher has remembered my previous settings for that file? There's no "file" as such that I see from the previous 'crushed' CSS folder? Excuse me for lengthy question - but there's no FAQ or "Manual" for WebCrusher...thanks in advance - John
Hi John,
There is a manual under the Help menu in WebCrusher and there is a FAQ in our support section of our website.
As for your question, since iWeb overwrites all files and you are using iWeb SEO Tool, you will need to optimize your entire website again. If you weren't using iWeb SEO Tool then WebCrusher would automatically remember the optimized files.
What you should do in this case is use WebCrusher first and then use the optimized website folder in iWeb SEO Tool. That should only optimize the newly created files.
In iWeb, make sure that you publish only your changes, not your entire site. This option us under the File menu in iWeb.

Thanks - yes, checked the manual already, had found it previously. Thanks for the heads up on the Crusher vs SEO Tool - will do next time, as this get's EXTREMELY tedious. Having said that, both products are working great...given the fact of a weak iWeb application (...can we expect better in the future..?). I've been really impressed with all the info on the web, and the video's. Have watched them quite a bit - very well put together and straightforward. Now we'll get started using the MailShoot software. Keep up the good work!
