How will I know when Google, Yahoo etc have indexed my site and how long does it take. I bought the site-automator yesterday.

It usually takes anywhere between 48 and 72 hours, but I have also seen it take up to 3 weeks.

A good way to check is to search for your URL and see if anything comes up.

Thanks for such a quick response. Google does find my site but the text in the search results comes up with an old version. When I click on it, it takes me to the right version though.

Looking in Google webmaster tools, I am now getting a crawl error URL index.php not found. I was not getting this before I used the site-automator. I am a real novice so don't know how important this error is. All of the links work on the site (www.redtigerconsultancy.com).

I realise that this is a different topic but I can only post one topic a day as I am a newbie to the discussion forum
