Webdesign now supports php syntax coloring when working with php documents or when setting the editor to PHP mode.
- WebDesign Includes
WebDesign Includes allow you to include files within your webpages allowing the ability to edit one document which can update an entire site. An update Includes in a file, folder and site automatically updates all your includes for you.
- Automatic conversion of HTML entities
WebDesign can now automatically convert HTML entities to the entity name, decimal or hexadecimal value while typing. It also allows conversions of your entire document to ISO-Latin-1 or ISO-8859-1 and back.
- Improved syntax coloring
Color all HTML tags or PHP syntax as well as the keywords from a selected keywords file
- Improved support for XHTML
Option to insert all tags from the Style and Insert menu in lowercase. This option is always used when working with XHTML documents
- Command-R now previews your document in the first added web browser
- Added New Blank HTML Document menu item which opens a new window containing the skeleton of an HTML document
- Option to auto-save documents when previewing in a selected web browser
- Opened documents will have their document type set based on their extensions (HTML, XHTML, PHP or Text mode). This is customizable in the preferences window

Offers the ability to edit all attributes including CSS attributes and javascript attributes. It also provides the ability to select colors for attributes who require a color value, a popupmenu lists all possible values for certain attributes and the ability to tab back and forth between attribute values has been implemented.
- Improved syntax checker
- The new syntax checker can scan your documents much quicker than that of previous versions. It also provides additional error checking and looks for proper format of attribute values.
- Improved Mac OS X support
Live resizing, scrollwheel support and sheets provides a better Mac OS X look and feel. Long file name support adds to WebDesign's increasing support for Mac OS X.
- Interface Enhancements

- Choose between relative and absolute paths
A global preference allows you to chose between absolute and relative paths when choosing files or folders. A great time saver when working with HTML files.
