a guy on apples iweb forums said this and i need to know if it's true:

"The Rage application iWeb SEO Tool will let you add those photo description tags to a page of photos. A typical photo HTML code looks like this:

<img src="Embedtests_files/Talia%20Stamp.jpg" alt="" style="border: none; height: 203px; width: 260px; " />

However, each time you publish that page the tags will have to be added again as the file will be overwritten. Also photos in a photo page/slideshow will not have code that will permit adding the alt tag. "

thank you!

Every time you publish your files with iWeb the originals are overwritten. HOWEVER, iWeo SEO Tool will remember everything you change for each page. So every time you open your website in iWeb SEO Tool you do not have to re-enter the information. You just press the Apply button.

It is true that in most cases the photo gallery does not allow you to enter alternative text. Its because it is written using Javascript instead of HTML. There is nothing we can do about that.

I have many pages on my website. When using SEO do I have to hit the apply button for every page or will just once do it, before I upload my changes.
Thanks.

You have to press it once per page. We will be adding an apply all button in an upcoming release.
