I have used iWeb SEO Tool to put metatags into a site I made.
I am serving this site off of my Mobile Me server space.
It is within a folder in my Web > Sites area.
I am using a redirect with Network Solutions to point at where the site actually resides.
When I go to do a search, none of the terms I put in register at all.

Also when I go to check the source code on the page when it appears in a browser, it shows very little code at all. This is what I see:

<html><head><title>MYSTYLISTCATHIEARQUILLA.COM</title><meta name="keywords" content=""</head><frameset rows="100%", *" border="0" frameborder="0"><frame src="http://web.me.com/th...list_Home.html" name="MYSTYLISTCATHIEARQUILLA.COM"></frameset></html>

And thats it.
It looks like this is an outer shell and the real file is being called to.

How do I fix this problem?

This occurs when a site has turned on Domain Masking.

People turn on Domain Masking because they don't want to see .http://web.me.com/username/site_name/page_name.html in their address bar. Instead, by turning on Domain Masking, they will see www.domain.com at all times (no matter what page of the site they are on.)

For everyone who is using an iWeb site hosted by MobileMe, my first recommendation is always to use a hosting company (http://www.ragesw.com/webhosting.php) This will eliminate all of your problems in the easiest way possible. You use a professional hosting company (which will give you much more flexibility in everything you want to do) and you don't need to worry about this other stuff such as hiding your domain.

My second recommendation is to turn off Domain Masking, and use CNAME forwarding. This will allow you to use MobileMe and have your domain show up in the address bar as www.domain.com/site_name/page_name.html

Again, the easiest solution is to use a real web host. Have a look at what we have to offer, and e-mail us if you have any questions.
