In playing with the program, I have an image for "over" ( a:hover) and one for "down" (a:active). I would like to add a:visited to the css using the active image, but have not had luck in getting it to stick.
Any help would be appreciated.

#shapes a#rage_numb_proportion:hover{
background-image: url(../images/NummberOperations/numb_proportion_hover.jpg);
background-repeat: no-repeat;

#shapes a#rage_numb_proportion:active{
background-image: url(../images/NummberOperations/numb_proportion_active.jpg);

#shapes a#rage_numb_proportion:visited{
background-image: url(../images/NummberOperations/numb_proportion_active.jpg);

i believe most browsers have disabled most CSS styling for the :visited pseudo class because of security concerns with the exception of color. This may not be possible for you to do.
