Following on from our recent big EverWeb 4.4 release, a new maintenance and stability release is now available: EverWeb 4.4.2 for macOS and Windows.

If you have a current EverWeb license and have ‘Automatically Check for Updates’ set on in your EverWeb-> Settings… -> Account menu on macOS and Edit-> Options-> Account on Microsoft Windows, you will be asked if you want to update the next time you log in to EverWeb.

Alternatively, whilst in EverWeb you can also use the EverWeb-> Check for Updates menu option on a Mac, or the Help-> Check for Updates menu option in Windows. You can also download the latest update directly from the EverWeb website.

The new EverWeb 4.4.2 release contains the following fixes:

[FIX] Added extra protection against a rare issue in styled text objects that could cause the app to freeze when switching pages or publishing.

[FIX] Image masks and cropping now export properly, ensuring masked images appear correctly when published.

[FIX] Fixed rare issue where masked images could export at 0 width or height, causing crashes.

[FIX] Fixed a bug where parallax images wouldn’t appear in the published website.

[FIX] Parallax scrolling effects now work on mobile devices.

[FIX] Fixed widget settings not updating correctly in certain widget types.

[FIX] Fixed high-resolution image export issues in some widgets where width or height values were missing.

[FIX] Corrected element stacking issues in responsive rows and containers.

[FIX] Fixed export issue in the Search widget where invalid UTF8 characters could cause problems with the search data.
