We have posted a minor update for iWeb SEO Tool. It fixes an error message that would appear when applying tags to your iWeb site if you have never used the application folder.

If you were getting error messages about applying your analytics code, this update will fix those problems.

It will also fix a problem with the description and keyword fields not properly wrapping text so the text would go beyond the widths of the fields.

Google has confirmed that a study using XML Sitemaps will;

Two important points can be taken directly from this study;

We conduct this test over a dataset consisting of over five billion URLs that were seen by both systems. According to the most recent statistics at the time of the writing, 78% of these URLs were seen by Sitemaps first, compared to 22% that were seen through Discovery first.

A fast loading website is also essential for a top ranking website in Google and other search engines.

Nobody likes visiting a slow loading website. Websites that take a long time to load (more than 5 seconds) are losing out on potential visitors.
