I have a brief question concerning how to set up SEO for a one page website. I've followed the instruction on the "how to get rid of site redirect shortened URL" video and that has worked but I'm unsure if I should set meta info and check the index and search radio buttons on my 'index.html file since you say NOT to use this file for SEO. The only problem is, it's the only HTML file I have since the redirect video says to re-name the start page "index.html". Does that make sense?

Is it ok to Optimize this index.html file.

My web page is robotcandy.net

Thank you!

In this case, it's okay to optimize the index.html file.

The reason that we recommended not doing it before was because that HTML file was simply for redirect purposes. It held no other meaning, so optimizing it would have just been a waste of time.
