I'm creating my first website and want a background image in my home page but have no idea how to do it. Can you help?

In the body tag use the 'background' attribute and specify a url. There is a free plug-in that can do this for you at http://www.ragesw.com/community/

You can also use style sheets. Enter the following code with the <head> and </head> tags;

<!--
body {
background-image: url('urlto/pic/');
}
-->
</style>

Using CSS to specify background attributes gives you much more flexibility. In addition to secifying an image using "background-image: url()", you also have the following CSS properties to choose from:

background-attachment
background-color
background-position
background-repeat
